Heather Rich is a visionary interior designer and creative director with over 25 years of experience spanning luxury interiors, brand development, fashion PR, and retail. With a career that seamlessly bridges the worlds of design and culture, she has cultivated a distinctive approach to interiors—one that merges storytelling, artistry, and an intuitive understanding of space.
Heather’s journey began in New York, where she worked in PR and marketing for a leading fashion designer, swiftly rising to the role of Director. She later co-founded Decollage, an exclusive by-appointment boutique, gallery, and showroom in the West Village, known for its curated mix of fashion and lifestyle design. Lauded by top publications and nominated “Best New Retail Concept” by Fashion Group International in 2003, Decollage set the stage for Heather’s transition into the world of interiors.
After relocating to London in 2005, she was commissioned to design a private residential bar in Chelsea, a project that led to an impressive portfolio spanning high-end residential, yachts, and private members’ clubs in London, Hong Kong, Croatia, New York, Miami, and Cartagena. Her work is defined by an appreciation for craftsmanship, bespoke detailing, and a globally influenced aesthetic.
Heather’s projects and expertise have been featured in American Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar (US & Japan), Harper’s & Queen, The New York Times (Sunday Styles), The Financial Times (UK), WWD, Wallpaper, Nylon, Elle (US), The New York Sun, and Vogue Hommes.
In 2022, she launched Confusion of Beauty, a brand that reflects her passion for interiors, art, and homeware while drawing from her deep-rooted expertise in creative brand development and design. With an extensive international network across fashion, design, culture, and hospitality, Heather continues to push the boundaries of luxury interiors and functional art.
